About White Space Nutrition
For decades, women’s health has been built on men’s data. The nutritional guidelines, the research on ageing and metabolism, most of it was designed for someone else and handed to women as if it applied equally. It does not.
The science of how women’s bodies change in midlife is finally getting more attention. The research around oestrogen, metabolic health, muscle and bone loss, the gut-brain connection, and the nervous system is evolving quickly, and honestly, it is fascinating. And most women navigating perimenopause and menopause are still getting advice researched for men in their 20s.
This gap is what made me build White Space Nutrition. I wanted to take the latest research and put it directly into the hands of women who need it. Not watered down into generic advice. Evidence-based, specific, and built around the biology of women.
I am in my 40s too
I am not theorising about what midlife feels like for the women I work with. I am living it alongside them. Which means when you come to White Space, you are not just getting the research. You are getting someone who understands what it actually feels like to be in the middle of it all. What I also know from my own 40s is this: there is something extraordinary that comes with this decade that nobody talks about enough. The self-awareness. Knowing what you want. Being done with the things that do not serve you. Understanding your body in a way you never did at 25. That clarity is one of the most powerful things midlife brings, and it is the perfect foundation for building your health upon.
